Our History and Achievements

Australasia Cricket Academy started in May 2008 to provide professional cricket coaching in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. We are considered the finest cricket academy in Ontario due to our quality training and achievements.

Australasia Cricket Academy has dominated Junior Cricket in Ontario since 2013 onwards. Since then, Australasia has won championship in at least each age group from U-12 to U18 ( Earlier it was U-13 to U-19)

May 2008 started with two kids

This was the time when we started our cricket coaching with two kids. We had no idea how far we would go, we weren’t even sure that we would be able to survive for a few years. What drove us to start the cricket coaching was the understanding that we could provide a training no one else was providing.

    2009 first U-13 & U-15 Team

This was the first year when we actually felt like we would stick around for a while. We realized we were growing more stable and expanding at the same time. We decided to put up our first team in the junior most category to try and test how our trainees would perform against other academies.

    2011 First U-17 & U19 Team

We grew in confidence and more and more juniors started joining us. Though, we didn’t have actual U-17 and U-19 players, but our juniors who were U-14 to U-16 age, we gave them an opportunity to play one to two level up to see the level of the competition

    2013 first U-17 Play-off Championship & Best Coach Award

By this time we were a well-known name within the cricket fraternity. Our juniors started performing well based on coaching and exposure they got and we won the first Play-off championship for Australasia. Icing on the Cake was to receive the Best Coach Award.

2014 First Player from Academy to represent Canada in U-19 World Cup

4 of our players got selected to play in world cup tri-outs and finally Aniket Joshi made it to the Final 14. He presented Canada U-19 team in the World Cup which was held at Dubai

2015 Fist U19 Regular & Play off Championship – Best Coach Award

Our journey has only brought us higher. We have embraced new training methods and our junior players started getting cutting edge analytics. That helped us wining our first U-19 regular and playoff championship along with Best Coach Award again.
